Hey, all!
I'm now an employee of Charlton Neo, a new publishing company that has risen from the ashes of the old Charlton Comics that went out of business in the 1980's. It has some of its old talent back as well as other professionals and new talents (I'm one of the new talents). We've got Roger McKenzie (also an editor, I think), Dan Johnson, Paul Kupperberg, Sandy Carruthers, Rodney Bennet, Mort Todd, and more. And more because I haven't memorized everyone's names yet and there are many creators and employees I don't even know about yet.
I'm doing a comic for them titled, "Hip Hop." It was going to hopefully see print by July for our Heroes Con appearance - that's right, yours truly is going to Heroes Con! - but the decision was made to not print it, but instead have it appear on Pix-C, Charlton Neo's pay-per-month webcomic subscription website. There was also talk of possibly getting SuperMilo picked up, but I want to hold off on that possibility right now. I'm more than pleased to do Hip Hop for them and see where that leads for the time being. I'm looking forward to seeing how this newly formed (or reformed?) publishing company goes from publishing mostly only mature readers books to creating a line of all ages books. Once they do, I'll feel more at home, myself, as Hip Hop is an all ages series.

In other news, here's a list of Comic Book Conventions I have or will be attending this summer, so far:
1. Jay and Eddie's Comic Book Show, Winston-Salem, NC on March 28th, 2015.
2. Lexingcon in Lexington, NC on April 11th.
3. Winston Salem Comic Con in WS, NC on April 25th.
4. Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC on June 19-21.
Other cons that may come up will be posted later if possible or announced on my Twitter. I really hope you guys don't read my Twitter, by the way, I say stupid crap constantly ALL the time... lol
In SuperMilo news, I was stressed out and on Sabbatical. I am currently working on getting the material ready for print. Right now, as we speak, a 48 page black and white SuperMilo book - the Space Worm chapter plus extra comic pages not seen online - is on it's way to me from the publisher. Soon it will also be on the webstore for sale at IndyPlanet.com: www.indyplanet.com/front/brand… .
I have also started a newspaper style 3-panel short gags version of SuperMilo the contains ABSOLUTELY NO STORIES. The reason why is because, once work starts back up on Hip Hop, I will disappear and be no more... In other words, Hip Hop will demand most of my time from now on. If I can get ANY SuperMilo done, it might have to be light, simple gags... But I will continue the story some day, no worries. I figure I can work on it bit by bit in my spare, spare, spare time and eventually post it at some later date. In other words, I'm not worrying about SuperMilo right now. I have to go to my full-time job, eat, sleep, and spend time with my wife sometime, you know? Something has to be cut out. And if I don't cut out SuperMilo, his comic will at least be lighter and less demanding of my time.
Until next time, peeps!

GOSPELMAN MINISTRIES Patreon Launched!
[pretend there's an image here, this really snazzy banner of Christian comics in the background and a fat man in a green Adam West Batman suit in the foreground]
In the words of Gospelman, "Hello, Gospel Chums!"
Gospelman Ministries is the name of my new non-profit Christian comics group. It's goal is to both reach comic readers who would otherwise never hear the Gospel message of Jesus Christ as well edify and educate those who are already Christian believers in their faith. It's been my desire at least since 2004, if not before that, to give Christians more positive, Christian entertainment alternatives. If you believe in our mission, ple
Cemetery Plots #2 Critic Review!
Hey! I'm back!
Okay, for all of you who aren't aware, my friend Dan Johnson is an editor at Empire Comics Lab. We first started doing the Hip Hop comic together when he was an assistant editor for the Charlton Neo publishing company, but months after we had completed the first story for them, the publishing company seemed no longer interested in it. Eventually Hip Hop landed at Empire and Dan Johnson wanted me on their main book, Cemetery Plots, so he got me a small gig lettering one of Marvin Mann's stories, a fantastic artist from Malibu Comics back in the 90's (or was it the 80's? I forget), in the second issue. The book also contains a s

HIP HOP NOW AT DRAZTIC MEAZURES, LLC STUDIOS!
Hidey-ho, good peeps!
First of all: I owe an explanation. None of my peeps on DA know what I've been up to since fall of 2014! I will correct this by posting my public images of my work for the publishing company!!! But, first, I need to explain what I'm talking about and how all this came about:
In 2007 about, I met Dan Johnson who got me an unpaid volunteer gig doing a cover for a Star Trek fan magazine. Through the years he helped me get other jobs as well, including introducing me to Kelly Morrison, the client who's children's book, Andy the Pug's Christmas, I illustrated between 2010-2012. I didn't know it when I befriended him in 2007
