NEVER AGAIN
by William Thomas Boyer
---------------------------------

Never, never, never again;
Never again will love's sweet bliss
Flow through this young carapace -
"No" is the answer of every miss.

Never, never, never again;
And I vow in all my sorrow,
Not even that girl over there -
Well, maybe tomorrow.
I'm still not sure if I'm submitting this correctly or not... I'm not sure what kind of poetry it is. This piece of artwork of mine and the poetry I did don't REALLY go together... The poem is a humorous poem about rejection (and getting back up again), while the artwork - to my dismay - obviously gives off the feeling of miscommunication. I'm not entirely satisfied with where I put the lines on the drawing, so I might change it later.

I wrote this poem in "humorous" anticipation to my next rejection. ^____^ Well, I did. I think it's funny! I originally started this because I was all sad and stupid, but then I was like, "This is silly. I don't want to communicate and give sadness to the world. There must be laughter and jolly-ment! I must contribute smiles ... or something..." So I turned it into a humorous poem instead. I love how it came out! I actually entered this into a poetry contest. I didn't win, but those BUZZARDS POSTED MY POEM ON THEIR WEBSITE AND IS SELLING IT WITHOUT ME PERMISSION!! XP Never trust greedy people. Anyway, that's what you get from poetryDOTcom. The original place the poem was posted online is [link] P7451594&BN=999& PN=1 (add the two lines after the link to the link, and take out the two spaces to make it work), but I got bored and decided to put it here. I might take it down later... ("Disclaimer: This poem is solely for humor and may not necessarily be the views and/or beliefs of the cartoonist now or ever. Please be kind, Please rewind.")

I'm not a poet and only write when something comes to me, so no heavy criticism please. ^____^ Thankees!
